About Me

image

I am a licensed Montana acupuncturist and currently in private practice in Missoula, Montana. In my acupuncture practice, I use both Traditional Chinese Medicine and Japanese acupuncture and work with a variety of conditions including but not limited to women's health, musculo-skeletal disorders and chronic and acute pain, cancer support, diabetes, anxiety and depression, gastrointestinal disorders, and fatigue.

I graduated from Southwest Acupuncture College in Santa Fe, New Mexico in 2002 with my Masters in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. I moved home to Montana in 2002 and practiced in Bozeman and Livingston, Montana until 2008, when I decided to pursue my Doctorate at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in Portland, Oregon. I graduated in 2010 with the advanced clinical doctoral degree and title of Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM).

I continued teaching and supervising master degree-seeking student interns at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in Portland, Oregon until August of 2011.

At that time I accepted a position at Integrative Medicine Clinic in Great Falls, Montana and began seeing patients in September of 2011. I left Great Falls after the clinic closed when our doctor joined Benefis Hospital, July 2013. I became the Dean of Academic Education at Han University of Traditional Medicine in Tucson, AZ, consulting via email, phone and monthly visits with my Montana patients in the areas of Chinese herbal medicine, acupuncture treatments, nutritional counseling and referrals for two years before returning home to Montana.

I greatly enjoy my practice in Missoula, the diversity of my patients, and being back home in Montana.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, I am not seeing patients directly, but I am consulting via telephone, FaceTime, and Skype. if you want to set something up, please email me.

I can be reached through this website, or directly at through my email at DrRebeccaSobin@gmail.com.
